✨ Reflect, Recharge, and Rule 2025: My Rituals & Tools 🚀
Ready to start 2025 with purpose and clarity? Let me share my reflection ritual, some unexpected lessons from 2024, and tools you can use to craft your best year yet.
🔎 How I Reflect on the Year
Every January, I review my calendar, photos, journals, and work highlights, asking:
Who was I when I made those decisions? Was I fearful or was I aligned with my future self?
What do I want to take forward, and what needs to change?
This year, I took it to the next level—literally—by reflecting at a spa. 🛁✨ Being away from daily life created space for clarity. For 2025, I’m committing to quarterly reflection days in serene spaces.
✨ Glows & Grows from 2024
Glows:
🌟 I hired a trainer—on track to hit my strength goals by 50!
🌟 Launched the MPower program—workplaces are finally ready to talk menopause!
🌟 Fell in love with pickleball and can’t wait to play more.
Grows:
🌱 Home office redo stalled (wallpaper picked, nothing else).
🌱 Managing menopause symptoms was a real test of patience.
🌱 Decision-making on learning investments was tough—fear held me back.
Big Insight: I was making decisions from fear. For 2025, I’ve allocated 10% of revenue to learning and connection. That’s my non-negotiable. 🎯
🌟 Tools for Reflection & Planning
Here are some rituals and resources to help you reflect on 2024 and envision 2025:
FutureMe.org – Write a letter to your future self (a birthday or New Year ritual).
Family Planning Session – Discuss what went well, what didn’t, and hopes for the year ahead.
Year Compass – A workbook for reflecting and planning with guided exercises.
Dan Silvestre’s Themes – Set a yearly mantra or intention.
James Clear’s Atomic Habits System – Break down resolutions into lasting habits
Choose what resonates, and make it your own.
Words for 2025: Clarity & Spaciousness
This year, I’m leaning into clarity—not just hoping for it but generating it. My friend Julia Harig shared a quote from Brendon Burchard’s High Performance Habits that nails this idea:
“You don’t ‘have’ clarity; you generate it. It’s not as though you walk outside one day and the Piano of Purpose falls on your head and all things become clear. Clarity is the child of careful thought and mindful experimentation. It comes from asking yourself questions continually and further refining your perspective on life.”
So true, right? Reflection isn’t a one-and-done thing. It’s a practice. That’s why I’ve scheduled a mid-year check-in on July 7, 2025, outdoors at the beach. 🏖️ Mark your calendar today for your mid-year check in.
